Rocket Elite Sound Crackling on Asus 620

Hi there,


I have a problem with Rocket Elite Gold.
I tried the Demo version, and besides some crackling while loading,
sound was fine.


But with the retail version I purchased yesterday, I have constant
crackling while playing. Using the stylus makes the crackling a little
more frequent, but even when playing with the d-pad, it's still terribly
annyoing.


So, is crackling during loading normal (I guess so)? Is there a fix
for this. I already turned of touchscreen klicks in the sound options.


It doesn't matter if I install the game on CF or in the system memory.


System: PPC Xscale 255 Asus 620
Latest German ROM (0.67.30) Date: 17/09/2003

It sounds like a wmb 2003 problem, it tends to happen when the game was made before 2003 came out. Theres nothing you can do about it apart from wait for an updated version of the game to be released.

Thanks for your reply. You are right, but the problem was,
that I bought from Clickgamer and they gave me a link to
an old version (1.02). Current version 1.03 runs fine now.

I emailed the programmer and got an answer about 5 mins later
from rocketelite.com, top-notch support.
