That is right. That's because the full-version Quake .PAK file you copied has not been G'TAR compressed. (Or is that G'ZIP?) The Demo version [that everyone downloads when they download PocketQuake] was compressed this way to make it fit in a PockerPC's main memory so more people could enjoy it. Personally, I wouldn't bother compressing it as doing so adds a *LOT* of load time.<br><br>(Hmm, Quake II's .PAK is only about 8MB larger than Quake's?)

I unzipped and unpacked everything and dumped files I don't need/want.<br><br>I am currently running PocketQuake at a slim 9 megs. How many levels can I possibly play at once anyway? I just load the maps I want to play.

the full version should only be around 35 MB
