Very cool to hear the jornada 720 runs quake now, but can we get the NEC mobilepro 770 to do so too now..?

We all know about the different devices. We just need a programmer with that device to debug on. So unless you learn to program we're out of luck, since you're the only NEC 770 user in the world.

I do know how to program, though not very well in C... The problem is I dont have any tools for windows programming of windows ce. if someone can point me to some I will have a look at it... And, I would like the source for the jornada 720 version :)

u can download the Wince Dev tools at pocketpc.com, and yes, you are the only person on earth with the ppc.

Ouch guys, lay off!  I used my 770 for a couple of years before getting my Jornada, and it's a fine device, especially while I was still in college.  I always hated how there was never any good software for it too.  I've given mine away to my sister-in-law, but I might give it a go too.<br><br>Scott Ledet

Actually, when I was looking at HPCs, I was torn between the LG Phenom and the NEC 770. I'm glad I didn't buy either and waited 3 years for the PocketPCs to come out. Boy was the wait worth it~

I believ that the 770 is an HPCPro and not an HPC2000, which means that it does not have dinput.h which is a vital file.  If you would tell me a good substitute for it, then I would be happy to compile a version for any hpcpro.
