Question, questions, questions... :)<br><br>1- Is there a way to make the horizon look better in Quake? I mean, in the sky box (http://sites.uol.com.br/hcueva/skybox.jpg), especially the corners of the sky box that "touches" the water looks very unrealistic. (maybe there are some fog textures out there? just wondering...) <br><br><br><br>2- I need some night-sky texures, with some shiny stars... Where can I find it? If there are not, how do I create it on Wally? OMFG, is that a submarine? I'm working on a submarine map for Unreal Tournament (Infiltration). It's roughly based on U-571.<br><br>Shadows in the corners are always a bitch. You can sometimes eliminate harsh shadows by making the corners a 45 degree angle instead of 90 degrees.<br><br>Since the map is dark, the shadows will be easier to eliminate. Quake doesn't support fog, but I doubt that a fog texture would work either. I try something with my UT map and see if I can convert it to Quake.<br><br>Looks like some nice brushwork, Diego.

Thanks. Yes, it´s a submarine map, but it´s not based in any real sub. argh, It´s taking a lot of time to finish this map- When I think it´s done, I always want to add something more... :) But I´m very close from releasing a beta. Just some more optimization, fixes, work on the outside part, some computers, engines and it´s done! :)<br><br><br>Diego Cueva

from looking at that build of your map, i saw some spots u needed optimization, dunno if you've started that or what, but the subs edges, where those for rectangles come together to make a side, use the morphin tool to make them meet better like this<br>[pre]<br>/__/<br>\  \<br>[/pre]<br>i hope u see what i mean, how the edges of each peice overlap. wellu know. u should do that on all the corners and blah blah, i dunno if u knew that. just a friendly suggestion.
