Wow. This is really weird. It seems Jimmy, Ruston Wallace and Jason White all take turns using the same PC at IP address 63.225.69.xxx. Weird.

May I ask what stake it is you have in that Doom port to come here and run your mouth?

Dan East

Last modification: Dan East - 12/13/01 at 21:24:34

Just stop wasting your time on this forum, and make a decent game. I'll be waiting.

Oh come on. These 'guys' (as Dan pointed out, it's just one dude) are not from Jimmy software. So please don't use this bullshit as an excuse for bashing Jimmy. Jimmy Software has done many cool things: Games when nobody did decent games for the PPC, the landscape util and so on. In fact, I don't think they ever did BAD software. But even if they did, who cares? They are a company, and you don't have to buy their software. But again, I don't think there's any reason at all to say that they make shitty software.

And sucking Jaybot's balls is something that no-one would ever see as an alternative to playing bad games, no matter how bad these games are. :) I mean, it's just *disgusting*. ;)

Thought that it would be funny to see everyone's reaction to my post. You all know, Chevy and Ford, Coke and Pepsi,...ect. On ID's site both games for pc are supported. Jason and Ruston are roomates Dan, we all share the same pc. We are all avid PPC fans. P.S. I think both games are great, and we do appreciate all of you spending the time to make them happen for those of us who can get past the GFX Wad error. Who can beat great free software?

Okay. First of all, "Jimmy" doesn't speak english very well, the most he can manage is engrish.
Second of all, Doom4CE doesn't even allow modifiable controls, I still can't strafe and the fire buttons aren't even labeled correctly in the readme.
Third, there's HORRIBLE sound support, only one sound can be played at a time. Plus it is relatively VERY slow. It is barely optimized and doesn't even have landscape mode support. No stylus turning either.

Fourth, no one is so insecure in their work that they have to go to a rival's home turf and try to bash it with only its loyal fans to reply.

And, I think Jimmy is a little bit older than that. He's not a college kid with roommates in his dorm.

Lastly. The GFX Wad error is not an error in the game, it's an error in the way you ignorantly installed it. If you bother to simply skim through the readme even an obviously weak minded fellow such as yourself should be able to figure out how to correctly install it.

Who CAN beat great free software. Obviously not you, charging $20 for some cross word app that doesn't work on most devices. Of course, for every one person that actually buy's your stuff there are 20 that warezed it.Last modification: Buckaroo - 12/21/01 at 07:47:28
