It comes with an engine. Oh, and seats, that match the car (they're black cloth with random colored squares, very Euro style). It comes with wheels with brakes in them, a steering wheel, POWER locks (not sure if it's keyless entry yet, I think it is), a stick shift that moves back and forth, 3 petals that also move back and forth, a CD player, a windshield, several other chunks of glass, a body with metal, lights that emit light, and crank windows! I'm still trying to figure out how to drive it with my PPC...

We'll see if it moves on Friday when we pick it up. Hopefully it will. I just got my license plates todaY!! And the freakin' Mass taxes cost $420! On a $6,300 car! But that's what I get for living in Taxachusetts.

Pffft. Tabs/tags on my car were $600 a year, until Washington State finally got their asses kicked at the polls. Now tabs for EVERY car are $30.

My parents are out picking up my car RIGHT NOW!!! AHHH!!! They should be home within the next 2 hours!! I CAN'T WAIT!! AHHH!! I'll write in the next chance I get after I get my car. Unfortunately, I have PSATs at school tomorrow (on a freakin' Saturday!) from 7:30AM to 10:00AM! Why are they making us take it so early? They want us to fail. It's like it's not a weekend because I still have to wake up at the same time on Saturday as for school! And take a 2.5 hour test! At least it's not nearly as long as the horrible MCAS (Massachusetts Comprehensive Assement System, if you don't pass it the first time, or DO NOT get a HS diploma, but if you take it again and pass [passing is a 78%+ on math AND english] it, then you get a "certificate of general education", which means NO college, and the failing range from '98-'01 was 32%-52%!). The MCAS is for 2 weeks (10 days) of NONSTOP testing ALL day (6.5 hours a day, 65 hours TOTAL!) Can you do that? On a test that determines your entire future? And I have to take it in the spring!! AHH! Wait a minute, how'd I get from picking up my car to the MCAS? Strange... Anyway, on Sunday I have my first Paramilitary Explorers meeting, and I'm freakin' terrified. Me and my mom went to the police station about it, and the guy was like, screaming at me, and I had to say "SIR YES SIR!!!!" I'm gonna piss in my pants when I go there on Sunday, but, I GET TO DO FIREARMS TRAINING! YAY! He was saying (well, screaming), that I will learn to use pistols, rifles, snipers, submachineguns, assault rifles, and full size machineguns (the M-60). So that'll be cool. Anyway, again, I can't wait til my parents get home!! AHHH!

I GOT MY GOLF!!! AHH! And you know what? The colors are quite darker than in the picture, and it doesn't really look like a goofy clown car, but just a multi-colored Golf. It is just too nice! My dad just ordered the rear spoiler and eyelids for it, and we'll probably be putting on a window tint sometime soon. I still can't believe that the car sitting in the driveway is mine. I gotta go now, so see ya!

No you can't, but if you could, yes that would be really cool!

What are your opinions on my car, Maggie? At school, ALL the chics were drawn to it (when I brought in pictures). A few even asked me how much room there is in the back for, umm, you know... ;-) and I told them that I can fold down the back seats, fold down the front passenger seat, and crank forward the driver's seat to have a VERY large adequite space for you know what...

I guess your car is pretty okay, personally its not my thing. I'm fascinated with trucks right now cuz I'm another year older today! Driving scares me. Anyways I'm thinking you can do it in almost any car so thats not rilly an issue.

I've had my Golf for a little while now, and I (actually my mom) wants to put in a new sound system. Right now, it's an 8-speaker stock system (2 sub-woofers [8 inch], 2 woofers [6.5 inch], 2 midrange [3.5 inch], and 2 tweeters [1 inch]), and I want to upgrade them all (and maybe 2 mega-sub-woofers, 12 inch, in the trunk), and I want to know if anyone here knows anything about car audio. Naturally, I'm looking at the JL Audio's, but that's quite expensive. I've looked at Sony's, Pioneer's, Kenwood's, and many others. I'm looking at some Alpine's right now, they're very good, and quite reasonably priced. Note that I also have a Pioneer indash CD player. Of course I'll see what the auto custom shop has, and see what a ballpark price would be, they specialize in audio. If you know anything on car audio stuff, I'd like to know.

SCORE!!! get a nice sound system and maybe a novelty horn, but if you have the super sub-woofers in the trunk (which i love, of course) then where are you going to put the batteries for the hydraulics?

Well, Ideot, an amp will do as a power source for a super duper woofer, no actual batteries. And I wouldn't get a novelty horn, the stock one is very similar to the old Beetle's "meep meep" horn. And of course there's the (rubs index finger and thumb together) money issue. I don't much (well, I don't have ANYTHING!), but my mom offered to pay some, so I'm looking into an 8-speaker (8 for now, it'll be 10 later on with the super woofers) system for under $350-400, without an amplifier. And hopefully that's possible. Just today, my dad took my car to a VW dealer to order a part that was missing (trunk cover, nothing major), and I told him that I wanted some VW valve stem caps for the wheels for 10 bucks, and he doesn't get them and tells me to save up my money for them. It's only $10 bucks! Oh well, I guess I'll have to get a job now to afford the shiny metallic valve stem caps with VW logos on them...
