Little help with casio E-125

Little help with casio E-125

Postby John » Sep 3, 2001 @ 3:27am

I just purchased casio E-125 and I got a couple of things i simply can't figure out.

#1 how do u close an application??? Some programs have exit in their menu but some don't. I can close them from conrol panel under memory but that can't be it. I just don't get this.

#2 I downloaded MS media player for pocket pc and it doesn't recognize MPEG as one of the formats it can play. What formats can I use?

#3 Also tried pocket quake and what i got was about 1/2 FPS which beyonh horrible. Is it because i was running it with little available ram for processing (does it need to be ran of storage card?) or there is something wrong?

thanx for your help

With media player that comes with the pocket pc when i switch to another application the quality of the sound drops and the mp3 sounds a bit weird. Is this normal? This problem went away after I installed MS media play 7.1. I don't want to keep 7.1, if i remove it will the sound distortion in the background comeback?

use wisbar to add a small button to close programs or go into the memory section in the settings screen on your ppc

the media player is just about memory as far as i know. i guess the cpu speed would also play a large part. dont know much about it...

mpeg only runs on pockettv (pockettv.com) at the moment and media player supports wmv files

pocket quake needs quite a bit of memory to run well. try overclocking your casio too if you're feeling stupid.

To enhance the bitrate of background MP3s you'll need to edit the registry with a third party application. You can get more information on http://www.pocketpcpassion.com on the bottom left of the left nav.

Uhm, what? IR is it's own port, it's not a COM, as far as I know.
