Arisme, it would also be great if you could include an option for hiding the toolbar, if all the options are to be mapped on hardware keys. It's very functional as it is, but a bit visually obtrusive.

I agree too, being able to hide the toolbar would be nice :D

btw there's a new version on http://arisme.free.fr/PocketScumm

and the list of the new features/fixes brought to you by the keys CTRL, C and V :P

Sound is now faster to match the speed in the original games (problem with ScummVM) - you can go use the old slower sound by selecting "slow sound" in the initial dialog

You can completely disable the sound in the initial dialog (but you don't really want to do that :))

More music in Monkey Island 2 (problem with ScummVM - the soundcard type wasn't initialized) - ok now the start of the introduction is even more out of synch, but trust me this is really better :) <= check this in your build andys !

Nicer toolbar, sent by Helios ! thanks a lot, I can't cope it alone with my evil drawing skills :)

Either Arisme or Andys:

Would it be possible for either of you to email me a testing copy of PocketSCUMM, one with a modified launcher? I was hoping maybe you could remove like the DOTT demo menu item and replace it with full throttle so I could see how well it would run, if it would run at all. I have a Compaq iPAQ H3635 (ARM running old PPC OS), and a Jornada 548 (SH3). By the way, my email addy is jay@jaymattis.com. <--Tough one to remember, eh?

:D The sound is even better in this version! But I have a question. Did you fix the part in sam'n'max that crashes in the carnival? I think someone posted a solution to work around that bug(something with the chracter rendering or somthing). I think thats what may be wrong with stans coffin shop in mi2.

Instead of pause (you can always pause by switching the device off) you could map that button to show/hide toolbar?

Also, on Casio, more important functions (i.e right click) should be mapped on gamepad directions.

Nope I didn't fix the Sam'n'Max problem ... I'll try to look into it sometimes this week end !

btw the MIPS version I put online yesterday was bad ! sorry  try to redownload it if you did before

Jay Mattis : OK I'll try to do this, but only for IPAQ :)

Would it be possible to clear the area below the main screen after a game has been selected?

Since the keyboard still disappears and is not really neccessary, it would be great to get rid of the bright and disturbing keyboard/startup-screen combination in the lower half of the screen in portrait mode.

Landscape mode is fine, but I prefer to play in portrait, so I've to switch to landscape and back to "clear" the screen... Just my two cents.

BTW: Great work, I even bought a new CF card for Pocket SCUMM! :D

Something about DOTT:
The German disk version runs quite well; I finished the game without sound and even with activated sound I didn't have any crashes yet.
