As for the NSA, I can tell you, for a fact, that they do NOT spy on U.S. citizens. But, whatever.

Ric, We had the NSA convesation once already, I do believe you. It is probably the FBI that does the domestic spying. I was talking abour the article you linked to in the first post in this thread regarding the isralies spying on us.

Concerning the NSA:
I don't know what they do on US citizens, but you read and hear a lot about their "projects" outside the USA, for example here in Europe.

There was something about secret EU stuff being spied out by the NSA some months ago, perhaps I can find the article again.

Wheter the NSA spies out Europe or Israel spies out the USA - it's basically the same.

Everyone spies, it's no biggie. The problem is that you don't spy on allies that support you completely.

In the case of the EU, I have no problem with them being spied on, if that is the case. Remember that every time Germany has had a military it has tried to take over the continent. Also, consider that France is untrustworthy.

Luc, there is much speculation on the happenings in the 70s, and perhaps it is true. However, current U.S. laws prohibit any international intelligence agency in the U.S. from spying on it's citizens. So, what once was, is no more.
