I have Mononoke Hime on VHS [original], and seen it in cinema three times. Great anime. Japan, XVI century, times of San dynasty. Ashitaka, prince of a little tribe, kills a demon, but he has been touched by the beast before, so his arm became cursed. To heal himself, he must find Shishi-Gami, the Forest God. Actually, Mononoke isn't so important character. She is a girl bringed up by a two-tailed wolf, met by Ashitaka during his journey...

Sorry Miyazaki but I'm not a fan. I mean, it was very entertaining, but I prefer Noir or Cowboy Bebop, maybe some Ah! My Goddess and Bubble Gum Crisis 2040 or Nadesico.

Speaking of weird anime Gravitation takes the cake of the ones I've seen so far, followed closely by a tie between Dragon Ball and Ranma 1/2. Cool effects and good animation in Grav. but homosexual pop singers aren't my cup of tea.

Fruits Basket is just hilarious, though. So is Love Hina. HILARIOUS!

OOH! Has anyone else seen the Cowboy Bebop Movie - Knockin' on Heaven's Door? That movie KICKS SO MUCH ASS! The opening sequence is just amazing and the animation during the opening credits is so real it's UNREAL! Download it, it hasn't been licensed in America yet so it's legal! I've got it on VCD.
