Is there a way to skip a snails turn?

When the game selects a snail, and I don't wan't to attack or do anything else with that snail, is there a way to skip that snails turn? I've noticed that the computer can do this, but I haven't figured out how to do this with my own snails. Is this possible? If so, how do I do it? So far the only option I've found is to wait for that snails time to expire. There must be a better way.

There is no official way to, but the simplest way is to use a weak weapon that's free, like a Schnoogie Special.

I don't know...I think I've done it. I pressed one of the hardware buttons, then pressed it again. When I pressed it the first time it paused, the second time, it was my opponents turn, but ever since I changed the little game controls, I haven't been able to do it. Maybe a glitch?

If the snail isn't in a contained area, I usually use the SnailAir flight for that purpose
