About a deleted thread

Hi to whoever may read this. I've just been through a topic here on this forum and i got rid of it for several reasons.

1) We will not tolerate requests for illegal copies of our game.
2) Badmouthing about Ionside members (or anyone) is out of place in this forum.

But i think the main reason why i got rid of that thread is because it was made by a guy who actually got a free copy of the game from us, then all of the sudden when we released a patch he started making demands to Chris so that he would send him an updated version (Like he could do stuff like that). Ohh well, after being on his back for quite some time he mailed us DEMANDING an updated copy. To be perfectly honest i didn't like the tone of his typing, basically because he's not a customer and he's asking for a favour, and by all means should be polite about it. So that's the truth in all this story.

I guess the moral of the story is always be nice with people and you'll always get the best from them. Pretty simple don't you think?

Chris is upset about this problem and he actually wants to buy this guy a copy FROM US, i absolutely discourage him from doing this, he's the coolest guy and probably can't help being nice to everyone. But it's just that he really doesn't have a responsability about this whole issue, the free copies PocketMatrix gives away are just one of the many awesome services they provide to our community and by all means you guys shouldn't make his life miserable for just being a good ol' pal.

I really didn't see anything offensive in moose's post. He was stating his opinion on the subject, just as I did. He may have been a little bit more forceful with his opinion than I was, but it really didn't warrant the post being deleted.

Sorry Cameron, it's just that moosemaster isn't welcome in this forum, i trusted the guy a long time ago by letting him see a beta of the game and then he backstabbed me by uploading it to the IRC. So he's not allowed to post in this forum anymore, i hope you understand.

And answering BlueIpaq: Yes, of course it's illegal to have people send you videogames over e-mail.

CARPEDIEM, my honest opinion on this is that Blue here should get the update. Obviously, if someone is rude and inconsiderate, especially when Ionside is working on your newest game (please tell me what it is, PLEEEZ? ) it DOES warrent some anger. But, because he got the game, he should be entitled to free updates. GoblueiPAQ, if what CARPEDIEM says is true, lighten up a little. No reason to get hostile (Please dont use me as an example ) Just ask politely. It always seems to go better for me when I do. Feel free to flame me. Oh, btw, Argentum is one kickass game [Edit 2] Although I wont buy it until its landscape mode [/Edit2]! *cough* [Edit] Got rid of some junk [/edit]

Whatever, you guys have to sort it out. But I have to say, carpe, when you have time and feel like doing it you should give it to him. Just my 2cents.

Thanks Mech, glad to hear that. We are supposed to be working on something very cool indeed but we are taking some time off for now i guess.
I guess when i come back from my hollidays i'll just give chris the updated game and get this issue over with.

GoblueIpaq, you don't have to bother him because you don't have a copy yet. Your being an ass. You can either be patient and get your damn updates or you can bug them and just piss everyone off. The guy with the update is on vacation and won't be able to get you a copy for awhile. Leave Chris alone he isn't the one with the update you want.

Chris, just block his email. If he is upseting you just don't give him what he wants. and you don't have to listen to his whining.

esw, I have no problem with you so don't take this as an insult. Just because GoblueIpaq says he wasn't rude does not mean he wasn't. If Chris thinks he was being rude then he was being rude. It's in the eyes of the beholder or something like that.

BTW this is a great game, you guys did an excellent job.
