Got an Apple laptop... now what?

That's right, I got an Apple notebook. It was free and its old, running OS8.1. How the heck do I use the dang thing? All I want to do is uninstall some programs....

Uh-oh. Next thing you know, you'll be supporting the Democrats or the Log Cabin Republicans, whatever.

Speaking of Mac notebooks, anyone ever notice how in movies, 99% of the time they show a computer it will be a Mac? I don't know of a single person that owns a mac in the real world, but its the only thing you'll see in a movie.

First thing you do is locate a large steak knife. Now, pull back any sleaves you're wearing. Now, line up the knife to a vein on your wrist. Now, apply pressure to cut the skin and gently pull the knife back, creating a long gash. Now, sit back and relax. Your Mac experience should be over soon enough.
Organic Superlube? Oh, it's great stuff, great stuff. You really have to keep an eye on it, though--it'll try and slide away from you the first chance it gets.

I would of but it went into sleep mode and wouldn't come on or turn off, or reset. Or do anything actually; hey its a typical mac!

It helps if you don't take it onto the firing range for target practice before you turn it back on.

Oh... well you could have explained to me that all the shiny parts and green boards inside of it were important before I did that...

Macs

Postby JTK » Mar 29, 2007 @ 4:59pm

Everyone I know says that Macs are way more reliable than PCs, but the old ones always seem to mess up. When Macs first started being made, if they were better than PCs then PCs must have been non-operational. Speaking of Macs, has anyone seen the new Mac vs. Pc commercials lately?

P.S. You may notice that it's been three years since anyone wrote a message in theis topic; I'm only writing this since I have nothing better to do.
