Petition to destroy the Iranian nuclear facilities

Petition to destroy the Iranian nuclear facilities

Postby Sheila_Israel » Aug 26, 2006 @ 1:06am

While you are reading this, the Iranian reactor produces enriched bomb-grade uranium. Terrorists can deliver that bomb to your city, and it can kill you and your children. Yet the government does nothing.

Do we demand violence? Not in any common sense. Similarly, police use force to arrest criminals in order to stop violence.

But Iran is not a criminal? Wrong. Iran has proven malicious intent. Iran, under the current regime, conducted many terrorist bombings in the West, and sponsors deadly terrorists. Iranian leaders repeatedly called for fight against the United States and annihilation of Israel.

Perhaps Iran needs nuclear weapons for self-defense? No. Iran already bullies the Middle East with its huge conventional army. No country threatens Iran.

Since the eighth-century jihad and the Ottoman army at the gates of Vienna, the West has never been exposed to such threat. Iran’s several nuclear bombs can inflict more damage on America than the World War II. Never before the Islamic fundamentalists who hate the West and dream of attacking it had military might of apocalyptic dimensions. Are you crazy to doubt they will use the bomb?

We call on the United States: Do not hesitate. Protect your people. Protect your allies. Destroy the Iranian reactor!

just to be the devil's advocate... Israel is supposed to have nuclear weapons too, so Israel should be treated the same way Iran is regard this issue, isn't it?

Thats some interesting spam. Now a question of mine. Aren't we supposed to be allies with everyone in the UN? I mean at least technically speaking.

The difference between Israel and Iran is that Iran has stated several times that it wants Israel wiped off the face of the Earth. Any country is entitled to build, test and maintain a nuclear arsenal, however, they are not allowed to build the weapons to use on other countries for offensive purposes. Iran has stated its wishes while working towards a nuclear weapon.

I disagree.

Him who won't, they drag.

MAD...there's never been a more perfect acronym. Cold war policies suck. The best example: massive retaliation..."Yeah, so, do something we don't like, even if it's something so small we don't notice, we'll level your whole country. Yeah, that sounds good."

Sandy, why?

Because its not in the worlds best interest to allow nations who give support and weapons to rogue groups such as Hezbollah and Al Queda to have a nuke to hand them? (A mention of America training bin Laden is an inevetable reply to this so let me say we at least never gave him a nuke. Not to mention things were much different during the Cold War.)

I think people misunderstand me. I am saying that all countries have a right to nuclear arsonals unless they are going to be using them on other countries directly or by proxy.

Well its a dificult issue because the only reason any of us needs nukes is because of MAD with rogue nations that will build them.

Brigistan: "I just want to make nukes to protect my people."

UN: "Oh gee, well that sounds fair."

Russia: "We'll provide scientists and nuclear material on the cheap!"

*Four million dollars shows up in an account of the Grand High Emporer with Great Hair of Brigistan. The Emporer enies any ties to the THS bombing before it occurs. Oops.*

Too bad Caesarstan has a national missile defense program and a massive, well trained, well equiped land army.
