I have gotten many requests via e-mail for the white screen fix that I have, so here is my original post with the link at the bottom.
Let me know if the link ever stops working (even though that shouldn't happen)

Thanks to Jango, this temporary white screen fix will be up until the new release can come out. So for those of you who have a 4700 or similar like me and want pocketquake to work now, here you go!

*Instructions*
Extract zip, and replace old exe with the new one.

*Small Note*
The keyboard visiblity is a small problem, can be done with guessing =).
I've also had a couple problems switching to landscape and back, then losing visibility of the menu border picture, which is easily fixed by restarting the program. Nothing big.

Thank you Jango. (And the guy that sent it to me)

I'll sticky this, if Dan doesn't mind.

Hi Peeps,
I have tried the fixes that have been suggested for this issue, but have got nowhere Sad The timer in the top right corner counts unbelievably slowly and I can hear all the sounds but not see the game.
Is there something else to try?
Cheers

Just compiled the Patrick's Pocket Quake XScale optimised version with the Jango white screen fix.

evc 4.0 sp3 version.

ESCAPE is binded to AUX5 (to change mode) (the flash button on my Loox720)

base dir is now the exe dir, no more need to put files in \quake\ on the root or cf cards.

I have the same problem with this version - runs much better than the previous white fix on my HTC Universal, but I cannot enter the slipgate to the first level.

Is there a fix for this fix? Smile

Is there a fix for q2 too?

I got the the pq2 from here, the original game data file and patrick's Xscale version of PQ2. But after starting it, I see just the GUI and hear the sound playing. The game window is empty. Unsatisfied

2. GAPI driver
3. VGA screen

ive tried 3 different GAPIs, a vga fix program and nothing. Crying or Very sad
