Hey randall, were you abducted by aliens? Because when I was I was able to change the channels on the TV by raising or lowering my hand. My hand also left a glowing spot on my monitor whenever I touched it and things like door handles and metal pens seemed to move towards me when I was just about to pick them up. But it's quit now...

Let me make a diagram as to how i believe touch screens work:
0000000000000
0000000000000
0000000000000
0000000000000
0000000000000
0000000000000
0000000000000

OK, then entire screen area is open. You haven't touched anything. Now you touch the center of the screen

0000000000000
0000000000000
0000000000000
0000001111111
1111111111111
1111111111111
1111111111111

It closes that curcuit in the center, which doesn't allow the current to loop back after that point. So it knows, depending on which jumper/diode/whatever they're called is closed. That's my theory. Now... what if we divide those last 1's by the first 0's? ;D
