Funny that whenever native americans are mentioned, the popular tribes are normally listed- Navajo, Apache, Cherokee. Nowadays, there are small tribes that are accomplishing great things. The Muckleshoot, Pequot...<br><br>I am a member of the Coeur d' Alene tribe. Not a very big tribe- about 1500 members. But we have built schools, hospitals, casinos and grand hotels. These are state of the art structures. Each member recieves a per-capita payment from profits of the tribal investments.<br><br>We are the single largest company/investor in Idaho. Maybe that doesn't sound too impressive, but considering where we were just 10 years ago, we are making big strides.
