But webslinging isn't a product of knowing you're dreaming "coz" that happens in real life to you?

now think about this, what if lucid dreams are just normal dreams where you dream that you are controling your acts (and in fact you are not)?

uhmmmmm

I don't know why these "lucid dreams" are so appealing. One of the greatest things about my dreams is that I can't control them and I don't know that I am dreaming. I can still fly and float and everything else, but I am more of an observer in that strange world, rather than an actual part of it.

I thought about my dream some more, and I think I only came to this conclusion because my wife said "you were looking at yourself". But the face in the water did seem to be faint like a reflection, rather than under the surface. I am convinced that analyzing your dreams after the fact is pointless though, because you tend to pick out details that my not have been there.

My dreams are always highly illogical, and expend a huge amount of time creating scenes. Rarely is it something that I can see in everyday life- I may recognise the buildings, but they are presented differently. And the immediate environment is not completely there, until I make a point to notice it. Like I may be looking across a street without an obstructed view, but I'll look down at the sidewalk and notice there is a tree in front of me. When I look back up, "poof" my view is obstructed.

Sometimes things will just appear as I go by them. Kind of like the "popping" of the older Playstation games where the mountains and trees suddenly appear as you approach them.

People are the most interesting, as they are completely faceless, until I make an effort to "recognise" them. Thus the most likely reason the drawing "Solitary" from my website has no face.

Well, one thing that is good about lucid is the sensory feedback.. its the best simulation device out there.

Its really up to yours taste.. if you let your mind go in its own direction, sometimes you get very odd outcomes. like TV

Lucid is like games.

I guess. The outcome would tend to be in your favor, and the unexpected would never be explored. I personally would never want to control my dreams. To me they aren't like watching TV. They are more like remembering events of the past where I don't have the power to change things, but merely observe.

Of course I have full sensory. Just as vivid as any other memory. I dream in color, and can even smell the rain. Physics still takes its toll- I recall the feeling of soaring weightlessly through the air on my snowboard, and then the massive impact as gravity, bodyweight and packed snow come together.

I like dying in my dreams- the feeling of fading away. Its difficult to explain. The world doesn't fade, YOU do as you no longer feel anything. Not even the beat of your own heart. It doesn't just stop or slow down, it just goes away. (don't ask me why my heart beats after I die, I dunno).

The weight of your own body fades. You don't get lighter, like the way water turns to steam. And its not "becoming nothing" like Casper the Friendly Ghost. Its completely different than floating or weightlessness. Its more like slowly detaching, which is kind of impossible. Its either attached or its not.

All that is left is my thoughts, emotion and memories. I don't remember much else, but it seems to continue from there since I have bits and fragments.

Sometimes I'll be awakened gasping for breath. My chest aches as I feel like I have been holding my breath for a week and a half.

So don't let anyone tell you it is impossible to die in your dreams. Its a myth. Maybe I just have a vivid imagination.
