The theory is that they're too young to understand the consequences of sex, protected or unprotected. I heard a statistic on NBC one morning that 30% of 10 year old girls are pregnant these days! I didn't even know it worked that young!
This is all just depressing... I really wish I had some other Christian friends here on this message board because I just KNOW that the end is coming soon. Everything in the Bible about the end days is coming true, and seriously true not just "oh it
could be interpretted like that." Things like one world currency (Euro is spreading), some even say the World Trade Towers falling due to terrorism is in the Bible, like me (but that one is up to a little interpretation, but it all fits so I'm in)...

Ya, "rape" is a violent act where a woman (or conceivable a man) is forced to have sexual intercourse. And something like two 'concenting' underage children is not "rape" in it's purest definition. And date rape isn't "rape" either. It's not not rape, It's still wrong. But people are applying the word "rape" to too many things and just trivializing what REAL rape is. Women will say "rape" if they regret what happened later, or they'll say "rape" just to be vindictive. And when a woman yells rape then the man is instantly at fault. And it's her word against his so there's no court case, except just what she says. And since she's always trust more than a guy after she's said rape then it's too late for the guy no matter what.
But when you're underage you can't 'consent' because you don't know what you're consenting to.
