Not at all. Just ecause I will eventually get married doesn't mean I have to wait until I am 25 or 30 or whenever I choose to marry until I have sex. I'll e missing out on a huge part of society, as well as an extremely enjoyale thing.

So if I know I will never get married, and I have sex, and then I end up meeting a surprise girl who changes my mind and I marry her, does that mean I have sinned?

And you elieve in such wholesome values, yet you think there is nothing to marriage ut sex? That after you have sex, there is no point to getting married? Not even their companionship? Not even to start a family? Not even to keep yourself from eing lonely, for emotional support, for love? The list goes on. Sex is a superficial thing, surely not as important as those other things to a good Christian.

Paul asked for a reason why it's better to wait, I gave him one. I'm sorry I didn't choose the Mary Kate and Ashley version. Of course there are reasons for getting married other than sex. We were talking about reasons to wait until you're married to have sex.
You shouldn't have sex just because it's good and "society does it."

Christianity and Sin 101:
Before God had made the Ten Commandments there was pretty much no way to get into Heaven. There wasn't any way for man to community with God. God gave Moses the Ten Commandments so that the people would have rules to follow, a set of 'guidelines' to get into Heaven. If you followed these rules then you're in Heaven. But of course we as human beings cannot follows all of those rules, we can't possibly not break them. You've heard all of those things: if you've thought about another woman you're adulterous, if you've ridiculed someone you've committed murder -- you've killed a piece of them. Well it's true. There is no possible way for man to stay out of sin. That's why God sent Jesus to earth because God new Jesus could stay out of sin. Jesus was completely sin free when He died. Because He was sin free He became the only acceptable sacrifice for our sins. People used to place their sins on animals, goats, and other offerings, and then kill them, taking their sins away. But that didn't work so well. So Jesus was the perfect sacrifice, we can all put our sins onto Jesus and sacrifice them to God. So it's through Jesus and only through Jesus that we can be saved and go to Heaven.
So everyone sins, but we should still strive to be as sin free as we can in an attempt to honor God and the huge sacrifice He made.
Being a "good Christian" doesn't mean you don't sin. Everyone sins. Christianity isn't about being good. Christianity is about being saved. And being saved means simply that you believe in Jesus and the fact that His death took all of your sins with it.

MY GOD!!! In one day, because of my one post, frickin' 3 PAGES of posts come from it! Ok, hold on. First of all, Paul, you pointed out that I editted my original post, yes, and that's because I stopped writing it in the beginning (I had to go somewhere), and finished it later; the other edit was to correct a typo.

30% of 10 year old girls are pregnant. Umm...and after 3 pages, you're all still arguing that? DUH it's false, jeez.

Date rape is rape during a date without the consent of one of the partners. It can include drugs (which usually is the case), or not.

As for statuary rape, that's someone over 18, having sex (even WITH consent) with someone under 18.

And one final note, note how I said in my post, how I chose NOT to do anything because of the ethics. I mean, yeah, you can say that it's gross that my libido was so attracted to a 12 year old girl, but I DID NOT DO ANYTHING, and will not. Damn, she's gotta be at least 14. AT LEAST.

And Moose, why do you always have to back up everything you say with religion? Please, use real hard facts instead of theory.

Moose, you always give me "Christianity 101"... well I am Christian. I know. That question aout whether or not it was a sin, that was rhetorical. In your post you seemed to deem it okay to have sex if you're never going to get married. And the Mary Kate and Ashley version would have een etter, I'd certainly listen to two hot twins talk more than a Christian guy with glasses.

I was just pointing out the fact that what you usually preach and that post were two completely different things. So there ya go.
