The Day We All Lost
Two birds fly all around
Nothing to see upon the ground
People are dead; cities are gone
A sick deer is drinking from a polluted pond
The nukes have landed, the day has come
All that is left is a few people, some
The ones that are left are pretty sick
Nearby a dead man's legs still kick
Forest, towns, and mountains in ash
All of our money, all of our cash
Spent on weapons to do this
It all came upon us like an iron fist
All the suffering, all the pain
We had everything to lose and nothing to gain
All is gone, all is sad
A dying man cries, we must of been mad

They have nominated me to write a poem to be put in there new book, "The best Poems and Poets of 2002." All I have to do is write a new poem and it's automaticaly in the new book.
The only thing that sucks about all of this, is that sure I get recognition, but I do not get any royalties from the books.
