Two cupcakes were in an oven. One turned to the other and said "Damn, it sure is hot in here" and the other one said "HOLY SHIT! A TALKING CUPCAKE!"

pop.lmp is in the PAK1.PAK file, it's not just a loose file.

I think it might need to be a certain file size, I'm not sure. Open up pop.lmp in NotePad, it should be something like the Quake logo in ASCII

All mods (in general.. I'm sure there are a couple of exceptions will work)

If you've got a legal copy of Quake, you'll have pop.lmp. Even if you don't have a legal copy you'll probably have it.

What you need to do is get a PAK editor, and extract the file pop.imp from the pak1.pak. You then place that file in the directory listed bellow. Similarly, you could simply put the entire pak1.pak file in the same directory as the other pak file, and it will work just find without the hassle.
