Why protons and not photons? And, for that matter, why either? Who said that people were made of photons?<br><br>Aditionally, I put the quote out in terse form so as not to confuse.<br><br>Und...I think egon was saying that the explosion would occur "very quickly", I don't think he was saying that the particles would be moving at the speed of light. Egon was pretty bright and he would have to know that the Theory of the Constancy of the Propagation of light and a little sprinkle of Special Reletivity dictate that for a non-photonic particle with mass, which is not to say that photons have no mass, to approach the speed of light, it would have to convert its own mass to energy and thus, ultimately become energy. Though, arguably, that could be what egon meant, that you would explode and your 'essence' would become energy as the particles accelerated towards the speed of light. Eh?
