Ugh, I'm around just horrible people. About 3% of the people in this school do I KNOW have the same values as I do. I'll find some nice people here eventually, but I don't want to, I want to transfer to an Ivy League school, I DESERVE that much :(. I look out my window and that's just not the view I want to see.

But I was always slow at making real friends because I don't compromise myself. My true friends I'll never lose, even though we all left each other to go to college.

P.S. WOW, you guys are really impressing me. Looks like you're all there when a person needs you to be. Makes me feel optimistic :D

Bah, Ivy League schools are so full of self-important super-liberal people. I would feel so out of place.

super liberal people? Don't tell me that! Duke and Sewanee aren't liberal. Maybe Yale and Brown, but not Duke or Sewanee. But I just want the northern atmosphere, I've had my fair share of Florida.

Ah yeah I should have cleared up the ones I was talking about. They're not all super liberal, but many are.

Well, I talked with her a little today. Guess what happened to her, so bad. She went for her license on Thursday, passed and got it. ON THE WAY HOME, she gets in a small accident (I don't know the details, we only talked for a few seconds), got a ding on the car, and her parents took the car away (they gave it to her). Can you imagine that?! You wait so long to get your license so you can drive to school, then you get your car taken away! No, now would not be the best time to ask her out...she isn't the happiest people in the world...I tried to console her, but we were in a chemistry lab, and I got boiling water all over my hand (yeah, it hurt like a bitch, but I couldn't move because I was holding the boiling water in a beaker with tongs, and I couldn't put it down. If I did, it would have screwed up the measurements, so I sacrificed some pain for an excellent 2.5% error, that's an A). She's in another group, and they didn't do too well, they had to do the experiment over, twice, and that didn't help her mood. Well, if she's still down next week, I'll try to console her, I mean, going on a date would help her recover, plus I doubt her parents would actually completely take away her car, they'll probably make her pay for repairs, and give it back...and make her pay insurance. Well, that's it, and you know what?! It's raining badly here today, and her field hockey game was cancelled! We could have gone out! But she's definitely not in the mood. Oh well, at least she passed her driving test.

^-- Not really, she said she didn't want to talk, and I didn't want to piss her off. Oh well, try next week. And I know exactly what will make her all happy and stuff, riding in my car, she loves my car, and would die to ride in it. Plus I can give her some pointers on shifting, yes, she's a chic that drives a standard, that's like one in a million!

[edit] Moose, about your morals on that stuff you said, I completely agree with you too. I hate it so much when I see a guy just reach out and feel up a girl. I almost hate it as much as when I see one of those skinheads with a swastika on their head! Oh, and when a skinhead harasses a girl, that's the apex of anger. I just see guys that do girls just because of it, as immoral idiots that see girls as objects. To them (like the guy you're talking about Moose), girls are like the ultimate vibrator, nothing else. Jeez, I want my girl because I want a close female friendship, WITH the physical attraction, not just because of it. You know what happened yesterday? In chemistry, I was with some friends. Then one of them looks over and says "Man, [fingerbleeder girl] is so fat! Look at her!". I was a little stunned when he said that, I mean, she isn't fat, just her stomach is a little plump when she sits. I would say she's probably 140lb 5'7". But I realized that he's judging her on her weight, but when I look at her, I see her personality...and how hot she is. I mean, she is! I mean, if I'd never seen her before, and see her on the street, I may say "hmm, her butt's a little wide", but I'd still think she was hot. It just made me realize how people can be shallow, my friend said he doesn't know what kind of guy would go out with her. He doesn't know I like her. I would, and want to, and AM TRYING to go out with her, who gives a damn about her butt! She's a damn fun person to be with! AHHH!!! SHALLOW IMMORAL PEOPLE!!! Ok, I'm going a little crazy, but you get my point. Overall, we can sympathize with eachother Moose, we're all surrounded by immoral idiots who view girls as objects.
