Online Registration

I did a search on this, and only found someone with this problem trying to register through a firewall. That's not my problem. I get that "unable to register" message, although I'm able to install the game. I bought the game a long time ago (when it first came out) and even though I was able to install the game, the message was that I would not get free updates. Please tell me I don't have to buy it again to get the updates :roll:

OK, here's another problem. I downloaded 1.7, uninstalled everything from my PPC and my PC, installed 1.7 (got couldn't register message as stated before) and now it turns out that it's NOT 1.7. It's just the same as before, which was 1.6

Somebody please help?

I have the same problem as the two above Rod's last Post. There must be something wrong! I just clicked no and then it installed fine. I hope I will be able to download the new updates!?!?

Yeah I jsut told it to ignore and it installed fine, so i be damned if I knew what was wrong, it appears as if none of the developers know either, since they havent posted anything in ehre about it.

I've never had that problem

But Peter is aware of it, and working on a solution, it has something to do with a bunch of programmer mumbo-jumbo that I really couldn't understand.

Seeing as everyone else has found a temporary solution to the problem, I'd stick with that for now

Not applicable here; all ports were open, no firewall in existence. It's their problem, I'm afraid. Surely all these people having problems mean that there's some kind of problem with the developers. We'll just have to wait until they can get to it......

Same problem here, I have tried through multiple connections also (ie dialup, adsl, corporate network, gprs connection, sprint 3g connection, and everyone favorite for cellualr junikies csd connection) I get the failed message. Please also note that this is on multiple OS's 98, 2k, and XP pro. No firewalls are running and when on the corporate network I was on a connection outside of the firewall. So XP and Zonealarm has nothing to do with it.
