Here's a positive thought. Most of the people here talking about being shy/not confident are 18 or under. Once you go through 4 years of college, and have to interact with people 24 hours a day whether you want it or not, you will most likely be a different person (socially).

So, I called this girl to ask her out to dinner. She has to study, which I should be doing now, too, so that was cool. But she said she'd get my number from this other girl and then this and that and yadda yadda yadda... Oi! It's a mess!
