I have got:

Cassiopeia E-105G with Mips R4000 @ 150MHz
32MB RAM
WindowsCE 2.11

The error:

'PocketSCUMM' (or one of the components) could not be found. Please ensure, that Path and Name are correct and that all needed librarys are available.

I copied the sdl.dll to:
\
\windows\
and
\windows\startmenu\pocketscumm\ (the place, where pocketscumm.exe is/was)

i think (do not understand i have)
i found a gamex/gapi library for palm-size pcs, but i do not know.
i copied this file (gx.dll) to:
\
\windows\
and
\windows\startmenu\pocketscumm\

bah, still hasn't solved the sound mystery ... the FM tables look correct (especially the envelope) and the clock shouldn't vary ...
