New XScale 400Mhz

Do you think that the new Intel XScale 400MHz processors will be supported, cause I am thinking of getting a new PDA with one in...

Ya, it is supported. The XScale processor IS a StrongARM processor. Intel just came up with a fancy new name to confuse people. Anything that says it runs on a StrongARM processor, or on PocketPC2002, will run on the XScale devices.

Don't worry about whether to get an XScale or not, it's not like any game is UNPLAYABLE on the XScale, just may be a bit slow. Example: Motocross Stunt Racer is beautiful on 206mhz, but just a bit choppy on XScale, and still VERY playable (and very fun)

Well, I'm getting a 64MB CF card for Christmas, so I can play Snails whilé I while away the sad months waiting to get a new PDA...

I actually quite like the screen on the new HP iPaq...

And the processor speed changer on the MyPAL

:D
