I get such a kick out of cross-thread-mocking.

Goto help its somewhere in there.

Dont get me wrong like i said im not a hardcore linux using ms basher. Its just lately i havent been agreeing with there buisness tactics.

Backdoor implies unauthorized access, at least to me it does. In the case you describe I fail to see the difference between that and say, PCAnywhere.

I just dont want it on my computer AT ALL, if i chose to install pc anywhere its my choice. This isnt my choice like 90% of people dont even know it exists. The problems i see with this is that (this is the lame one) who really says that ms needs your permission, just becuase they ask doesnt mean they always have too. Second maybe some ube-cracker will figure out a way to exploit this for himself and then everyone has this potentially dangerous 'backdoor' running.

Well I myself dont mind, no one i dont want is getting through my network, plus to me xp's +'s way outway its bads. Like i said i dont hate microsoft i just disagree with some of the desicions lately and i think we as consumers let them go to far sometimes.
