Ya, I went to a really poor school. I'm sure they just gave me higher grades to increase their overall school GPA. Not that I didn't do a good job, I did so much better than the rest of the students, so the curve put me so far ahead.
I got a 120% on a history project simply because I did it on my computer! My school was horrible. I believe nearly everyone on this forum is of the same intelligence. I went to a horrible high school, though, where no one really cared.
Who's against contraception? I say that if you're going to have sex then use all the protection you've got! It's stupid not to. They handed out a study about condoms in my bio class. 50% of the subjects were HIV positive and paired with HIV negative partners. After 15,000 sexual contacts (with condoms) throughout a single year none of the uninfected partners became infected. Condoms are pretty much 100% safe.
But I'm for abstinence. I'm not going to preach abstinence, because I know some people just can't do that or don't think it's good so I tell those people to use protection. But for me it's abstinence. Sex isn't some overwhelmingly good feeling, either. All it does is release a chemical in your brain that relaxes you and makes you feel good. The same chemical is released when you eat food. I'm not saying sex isn't good at all, it's probably the best thing in this world, but I can wait.
