Damian: Why is your IIIx black? My IIIxe is black, but the IIIx was always gray?

The IIIx is gray; it's just the lighting that makes it appear black. Look carefully at the second picture and you'll see.

Technically, though, it's a IIIxe since the motherboard was replaced from that, but that's a different story...
