You have to do the magic elf dance first, only then if you are worth it, you will get the themes.

Yeah, but isn't the only way to change the BE's start bar a complete ROM flash to Expod? By that convention, flashing an iPaq to Linux would allow the "start bar" to be changed quite easily by using different window mangagers in X-Windows. So yes, by practically the same method, it is possible.
