Indeed. The battery life in the V35 is pretty good, more than enough to do what you want. There aren't any specific tests, but the battery life will more than meet your expectations.
By the way, you can completely turn the screen off playing audio in Media Player and PocketDivX (PocketMVP sounds like crap, says nothing about the program's function)
