UPDATE

Postby Kangol » Dec 29, 2002 @ 11:33pm

This is an update...

After scanning thru the threads, I have learned the following. On the 10.5 fps I posted, it was using the 999 optimization. I just realized that when changing my auto.cfg, and now understand that part. I have also copy and pasted what "Mali" added in the thread above, I got 969, 70.1, 13.8 first try. I'm sure that will go up, but now I understand what is going on. Took me a while to get back to quake language, I would be hard pressed to convence someone that I was a very good player in quake 3, 2 years ago before I stopped playing.
I will strt playing with this a bit more, and see what I can come up with, thanks all!

Well to join in I have the Axim 400 and thought I would jack everthing up to look the best and I get 8.5. Now I did not try all the ops to get the fastest. It does keep telling me it does not know what r_maxsurfs is...

I only got 8.4 FPS on my Axim 400 with the "stock" cfg file. :(

Wow, that sounds like a pretty good score! My 400MHz iPaq H3955 only gets 7.9 FPS.
