Well, then I'll just lower sound priority and comletely mute sound output... brings back that nostalgic 286-without-soundcard feeling at least...
I've been thinking about the gameX-crash... Well, I don't know much about windows ce programming, but as I understand one uses gameX for direct framebuffer acces. Could it be that you try to acces the wrong address? That might just produce such a hard crash... I experienced just the same with a SH3-port of gnuboy (gb emulator): the windows opens, and I can select a file, but it crashes when emulation starts and it is about to display something... Just the same error message as the one produced by PocketScumm ("illegal instruction blahbla...").
Well, thats just a suggestion, I hope it isn't total crap...
