Will this work?

Will this work?

Would it work to use a Semsons battery extender along with 2000mah AA NiMH batteries from Batteries America? The reason I ask is because I dont want to end up blowing up my Maestro becasue the batteries are too powerfull or something like that.

I would assume it would not work, each device has it's own power drain rate, so that would not have a happy result.

???? Whats Power drain have to do with it??? The battery extender charges the device. It is compatible with my Maestro and says that you can use rechargeable NiMH or NiCd batteries.

Well now Im hearing that if you charge the batteries fully, they actually equal around 5.2(or 1.3 each) volts which is more then the Maestro takes. Is this a bad thing? I dont think it will cause any problems, but I dont know?!?!

Well, I am very impressed with this battery extender!!! It took it an hour to charge my device full from 40% then it lasted another 3 hours and during this whole time the backlight was on low and I had headphones on. I played music for the first 3 hours then I played games for the last hour. This was not all at the same time, but whenever I turned the device off I turned the Extender off as well and pulled it out of the device, so this should be pretty accurate! According to the voltage, there is still roughly 15-20 minutes of power left in the extender even! :D This would mean that I could use the device for a total of 6 hours- 1 Hour before having to charge, 4 Hours off the Extender and 1 Hour after taking the extender off! I am using the Semsons Battery Extender and 1850mah AA batteries.
