Ok, I have added this post to discuss questions I may have about my project Helios. Or, mostly to gather input from you guys on certain things (instead of at the end of another person's post).

What about a random number generator? That would be interesting.

Wow, that looks great! What kind of RPG is it? FF-style or a Zelda clone or what?

If your world on screen is to be interactive at all I can't see how you could use the stylus for movement.
Or said in a different way, I think it would be foolish to waste the power of a stylus with only directional movement. There are lots of things you can do, multiple space movement (click the tile like Diablo), actions (double click the dude to speak) etc etc. You could join some of this, so that double clicking on the King will have you move over to him and then speak. There are certainly more options than those mentioned above.

I posted a screen on a project I've been building the last 2 days on the other thread, and I tested both methods initially, but the stylus movement is not good IMO. I also have menus so I need the stylus for other reasons where maybe you do not.

personally, i would prefer just dpad, but to make everyone happy you might as well make it both. What language are you usng to program it? I want to learn how to program, and i was just wondering what language you would use to make a game like that.
Careful, don't get crushed under the weight of my stupidity... the think hurts
