No one knows if those processors will ever be used - Intel has tons of different SA and XScale processors for all different users.

Just buy now. There has been absolutely NO word on a different processor being used in PocketPCs any time soon. I'm pretty sure that they're going to stick with 400MHz XScale PXA255's for quite a LONG while now.
