How much is too much?

What is the most you will spend on a PocketPC game?

How much is too much?

Call me a cheapskate, but I think paying 24.95 for a PocketPC game is asinine. I'm curious what the maximum amount of cash people will spend on their PocketPC games.
IMO, Xen Games has the best pricing scheme. 6.99 for a 3D game? Good enough for me.

Honestly, I think the logic of 6.99$ for a 3D game making it a good deal is asenine, but to each their own.

Personally, it definitely depends on the quality and depth of the game.

If there was a quality game that had enough gameplay, entertainment, depth, and replay value; I would easily pay 35-40$ for it.

Such a game as this hasn't existed on the PPC yet, and I don't believe that it will for awhile... but if it did, I would have no guilty conscience paying for what its worth.

I just bought Wario Ware for the GBA a few weeks ago for 30$ and it was worth every penny, and then some.

I bought Xenosaga for PS2 a few months ago for 50$ and felt ripped off.

For the GBA comparison, I think devs should remember that an actual GBA developer only gets about two dollars per cart.

In my own opinion, I look for the quality and replayability of the game. And yes, a demo should be provided too. I wouldn't mind paying as much as $15 - $20 for such a game.

Which reminds me, I'm just about to release a game in a month or two which I've worked on for 8 months now, would you mind sharing your criterias on pricing a game? I don't know why but I keep on thinking if I will sell it cheap and go for the bulk purchases (like Xen games') or sell it higher provided it has good quality & replayability anyway?
