They have a larger car manufacturer support (more car manfucaturers provide Sirius options at the dealer), their stock is strong, it's the stock I trade most often during the week as a matter of fact.
The only reason they're not doing too well right now is because they overestimated need and put up more satellites and thus have to charge slightly more per month ($3 more), but that means they have better reception and wider coverage. They have much better equipment and much better programming. If I get satellite radio it will be Sirius, because they're better and I will support them because of that. The ONLY thing XM has over Sirius is the name. Sirius has better programming, 100% commercial free, more stations, more satellites, better equipment, and more support from radio and car manufacturers. Plus I just don't like the overall style of XM. Any website that is red, yellow, and black isn't a real winner with me.
They're not losing, but I do not deny that they're in second place.
