Ipaq 2200 poorly documented

Ipaq 2200 poorly documented

Postby Guest » Jul 16, 2003 @ 1:43pm

Hi,

just bought an ipaq 2210 over here in the UK. It us absolutely awesome compared to my 3630. I have a quick question - how do i do a hard reset on the thing?! With the 3630 there was a slide to reset the machine - do i have to take out the battery and leave it for the backup battery to discharge completly?

Does anyone else think that the documentation on the 2200's is quite poor?!

This is just a guess, but try pressing and holding the left most and right most buttons (with the device off) and then pushing the reset button with your pen. If nothing happens continue depressing those buttons and then hit the power button, also.

Otherwise, the simplest way is to simply remove the battery, leave it out for 30 seconds, then put it back in.
