One possiblility is that the snap in connected for the touchscreen fell (partway) out. You can open it yourself, and plug the wire going from the plastic layer in front of the screen in harder. If this doesn't work, it's probably software.

it isnt softyware because nothing was installed on it. In fact I had juhst recharged it the night before after not using it for a few weeks. It worked fine the night before, but now its pretty much not responding, or responding very slow.
