Clies are very cool devices. Why try and dispute anything he said?
I mean, contrary to what I just wrote, let's take the points one at a time...
"Hps are known for their suckiness"
Obvious FUD from someone that probably loves Palms and hates PocketPC's, nothing more. Ignore it.
"Clies are better and you know it"
Pure opinion and trying to bait you. Don't go for it. He may believe this, and for a given user it may be true, but as a generality it's obviously a statement designed for no other purpose than to get your goat up. Leave it alone.
"They're more powerful"
A completely vague statement. In what respect is it more powerful? They may well be in some areas, but I'd bet they are less powerful in others. What does the balance sheet say at the end? I don't know, and neither does this guy. Again, just ignore it.
"They have cameras"
Well, yes they do. And I'm not aware of a PocketPC that has one yet, so you could count that as a plus in the Clie column. Is it enough to offset the positives a PocketPC has? You be the judge.
As I said, I love playing with the Clie's in the story. They are indeed very cool little toys, I wouldn't mind having one myself. But given the choice between it and a top-model PocketPC, I'm going to go the with PocketPC, no question.
Others may disagree, some may say they prefer a Clie. Good for them, I can see the appeal.
But the arguments put forth by this guy aren't worth your time to reply, let alone ours.
