Steel Sky runs slowly

Do you have any idea, what can cause this problem? Because I have no idea where I should look. I checked, whether I have everything pocketscumm related installed correctly (correct directories and so on...), tried to play with suondthread priority, even NoMusic, byt no change... :(

GAPI is installed in ROM in these devices, right ? can you tap on the PocketScumm logo in the first screen and tell me what's displayed ?

otherwise did you try with the BASS version downloadable on ScummVM site ?

Well,

I did some experiments with older pocketscumm build I still have, and while I was not able to test BASS for obvious reasons, Sam and Max was working. It was the pocketscumm build 051902, and the Sam and Max "Lucasarts logo screen" slowdown I described previously was not present. So it looks like there are some issues with iPaq 3850 and the latest pocketscumm build. At least that is my impression...
