Postby AsusOwner » Oct 28, 2003 @ 2:31am

 Guys just get an ASUS and be happy about it...
 I am n ex 2210 owner and before that i had a Zire 71 and long before that a Palm Vx.

:D I only got a ppc because currently it has got a great emulatior range... but it turned out to be everythuthing and more.

 To the guy that said about that comparing Normal mode vs 2210 i say dont be doofus... 400 vs 400 is the fair head to head.[/quote]

Well i received my Asus last weekend. Panicked at first as a lot of things wouldnt install on it (The installer wouldnt work but copying the files manually worked).

The Asus really is superb, i can run SNES games full speed with sound, Genesis and GBA games seem to work fine as well. Even Mame games are 100%.

My only gripe is that i have a 512 Meg card and when i load up an emulator and it looks on the SD card for 'My documents' that it takes agessss to get a list of games.

Apart from that this device to me is superb for emulation and games

I think one of the few good uses of BT in Pocket PCs is its capability to talk with Apple Macintosh based systems. Wifi should be a faster solution but I suppose if you want a cheap solution (BT modules are cheaper than Airport for macs) and don't wanna shell out for that Pocket PC mac syncing software - BT's the way to communicate :)
