I'm running PocketScumm on a Jornada 680 with WindowsCE 2.11. But this is a Handheld PC and not a Palmsize PC.
And that's the next thing I'd like to tell You: Not WindowsCE 2.11 is the problem. The platform where it's running on is the problem. On the Handheld PC devices is a file browser available, the installed file search utility on my Jornada 680 works properly and most of the things I like to do with this device, I can do.
If Your Casio E-105G does not the things You like, why did You buy it? Because it was cheap?
Well, I can't upgrade the Jornada 680 from WindowsCE 2.11 to 3.0 too and there are some things I don't like on that device but I can live with these things.
If You need a filebrowser, take a thirdparty software. If Your search utility doesn't work, take another one. There is enough software available for these devices (more than for Handheld PC's)...
