Ok, don't bash me for saying this, but Worms World Party for the pda got released today. I must say... after Hexacto missed their July release date, and with Snails v2.0 delayed as well, the future of small cartoon creatures with large and destructive weaponry was looking bleak.

I've checked it, since I'm a big Worms fan (that was the reason for starting the Snails project) and was rather disappointed.
No background music?
No background graphics?
Below 10 fps on a 1910?
Terrible controls?

I am biased of course, but hey! it's the Snails forums I'd happily recommend you Snails over THIS Worms port for now

Of course we'll improve Snails to be even better in the coming months. Especially since it looks like it'll win 2 of this year's Pocket PC Awards

I'd deffinitly agree (please don't criticise me for my spelling, I know it's wrong so lets just drop the issue)

I love snails! Worms is rubbish in comparrison.

Snails is a better game and is a lot cheeper, so it wins on both accounts.

If I were you Peter, I would have released an offensive before the release of Worms or on the same day, maybe something as simple as bringing loads of the custom maps together and releasing them as a free update on handango. at least it would have been publicity.
