If you are looking for more (or a new) free host, is a really good one.

30mb
500mb bandwith limit (per month)
NO banners/popups/anything else!
TOTALLY FREE!!

a URL like http://wwwXX.brinkster.com/yourname/
where XX is a number, and yourname is, you guessed it, your desired name :).

If you do look at something like this, i think its best to consider a redirection service with it.
I use a lot.

oh and by the way, Good job on the Guide!

Sorry about the delay. The guide is now up on PocketMatrix, and can be reached by clicking the guide link at the top. Or for the lazy, by clicking this link: http://www.pocketmatrix.com/guides/compression/

Organic Superlube? Oh, it's great stuff, great stuff. You really have to keep an eye on it, though--it'll try and slide away from you the first chance it gets.

And websense.....oh god. Websense makes no in the way it blocks things. At school, google is classified a "gaming" site and gets blocked. And, I'll never forget when we needed flash to take a test and websense blocked me from downloading it  . I feel you pain!

Are you sure that you set the bitrate correctly (i.e., did the math completely correctly, and converted all of your units into the proper ones [seconds and kilobytes])? Did you set the sound quality? Is there any step, however small, you may have skipped?

If you need more personalized help, AIM me: Neszis.

EDIT: One thing you may have done could have been in the conversion of units. Specifically, did you make the minutes into seconds? Or did you use my magical number for about 1 mb/min ( 72 kbits/sec)?

Ok I have sorted it out. I kept the same settings but unticked the VFAPI setting in options on TMPGenc. Why should this effect it ? Or is it me, my computer or a mix ?

Neszis : I used your numbers. I can now watch a movie on the flight to Germany (60seater with no inflight entertainment). 90min movie @90mb quality not great but easily watchable.

I would recommend you write a tutorial for encoding with PocketDIVXEncoder available here: , it's faster and simpler than virtualdub, and can even handle .vob files and give you a lot of advanced options.
