Unless you're playing the single-player quake levels, you can reduce the size of quake to about 7mb uncompressed.

Just get a pak file editor. I like , then open up pak1.pak, go in to the maps folder, and delete all e*m*.bsp files (where * is a number)
If you want you can also remove the dm*.bsp files, if you don't like ID software's deathmatch maps.


Now I just realized this thread was half a month old, and so this is probably a useless post.. oh well :)

Hey spoonge, yep, I haven't posted in quite a while :)

I've been busier with school and other things,.. and the PocketQuake and Argentum forums have died down a bit. Doesn't seem like there's as much map/mod making going on these days :(
