The reason most people ask questions is because they either dont know how to use google, or dont want to.
File browser - the default works fine 90% of the time for me, otherwise you can use dexplor (dex-plor.com) or startap (thumbsupsoft.com)

-Overclocking program - i only know of the xscale overclocker, Speedstepper which is for xscale (but I thought the viewonic was.. if its plain old arm, the only other one i know of is an old one by jimmysoft.com but it was only for ipaq)- http://elevatedstudios.com/pocket/ overclocking makes a huge difference in performance in games
-Emulators - NES and Gameboy (and GB color) will run perfectly with morphgear http://www.morphgear.com/ and Pocket NES, http://pocketnes.retrogames.com/

-I'm also planning on upgrading it to WM2003 (for the speed improvement and WMV/A9 support)-
if viewsonic lets you.. do it, absolutely, the differnece in speed and performance in wm2k3 is incredible.
